Custom systems for small businesses
I’m Von. I build custom software around the way your business actually works.
Schedules, forms, customer messages, and the details people need to get the job done, connected in one workflow.
Complexity is inevitable.
Confusion isn't.
Real work
A construction operation and a grooming shop have very different days. Here’s how I built around each one, with real screens showing how the pieces fit.
Construction

Built as part of my job at Watren Concrete Forming: schedules, crews, trucking, equipment, and repairs.
Pet Care

Built for my wife Kate’s grooming business: appointments, paperwork, grooming progress, and Barkline messaging.
Sound familiar?
The schedule is in one place. The paperwork is in another. An update lands in a text, and someone has to carry it across to everything else. That’s the kind of gap I work on.
Unified operating system
Growth creates complexity.
Complexity does not have to create confusion. How I work
I start with the people doing the work and the tools they already use. Then I work out what needs to connect.
I walk through the job with you: what happens, who needs the information, and where things get stuck.
I map the steps, the records behind them, and the handoffs between people and tools.
I build a working version around that workflow, with the screens and connections it needs.
We walk through it together, check the handoffs, and adjust what needs to work better.
What I believe
Complexity is inevitable. Confusion isn't.
The point is to help people do the work. That’s the question I keep coming back to when I build.
Start a conversation
You don’t need a software plan to start a conversation. Tell me one thing you keep entering twice, chasing down, or explaining over and over.
